QLD Plant and Equipment Manager

Job Details:

Role Responsibilities • Plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day operations out of our QLD workshop and on site from time to time. • Increase production, asset capability and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards • Be responsible for the quick turnaround on the repairs and maintenance of our plant & equipment including drill rigs, concrete line pumps, excavators, drilling attachments, light vehicles and grouting equipment to name a few. • Implement proactive maintenance schedules across all plant with minimal impact to site works • Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results • Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus • Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions • Share a trusting relationship with other members of management, to manage and develop plant and staff • Collect and analyse data on machinery to find room for improvement • Recording all service and repairs and prioritising important jobs • Commit to plant safety procedures • Develop and adhere to systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards. • Address employees’ issues or grievances • Influence and learn from others • Receive deliveries, sign off if required, make sure all delivery dockets are submitted to procurement manager • Ensure that all OHS requirements for the yard and workshop are adhered too at all times • Troubleshooting and solving mechanical and electrical problems • Call out to site breakdowns to provide mechanical assistance when required • Organise the general tidiness of workshop and yard • Assist with the loading and unloading of plant and equipment on to trucks for site delivery, if required • Keep record of monthly spending’s and adhere to company invoice policies • Keep stock of spare parts, monitor and record usage.

Salary: 
$100,000K -
$120,000K + super
Requirements
At least 5 years of relevant work experience
Demonstrate a strong safety culture awareness
Full drivers licence
